news Unidentified persons attacked a senior advocate with sharp-edged persons here injuring him seriously, police said today.

The attack on Ajit Tehria, the Mathura District Bar Association Secretary, took place last night, they said.

Tehria was on way to meet Bar Association chairman Alok Singh when three unidentified persons attacked him.

The condition of Tehria, who was stabbed in the stomach and received head injuries, was stable, doctors said.
