![]() Redness of face is a very common symptom that is occurring to many people. However, the reasons of redness of face may be many. The causes are diverse, be it physical or emotional. Yu will often find that face reddens of being embarrassed, this purely because of the sentimental element. However redness also results when too much alcohol is consumed or a food tastes too spicy to your taste buds. Hypersensitivity or allergy towards certain chemicals like monosodium glutamate present in any food can result into redness of face. Chronic redness of face is a whole new kind of facial disease they can occur due to hormonal misbalance or several other factors. Thus it is necessary to trace the actual reason for redness of face.
Common skin diseases that shows redness of face as a symptom: Crushing Syndrome results from hormonal disorder in the body. When the body is stressed out, the over secretion of cortisol hormone reddens the face. Consequently, other body processes also shows disorientation. Blood pressure rises, along with blood sugar result resulting in fatigue, anxiety and depression. Such a chronic disease has to be treated and cured only with the help of a dermatologist. Prescribed drugs are mandatory in such cases. Rocasea is another common reason for redness of face. This occupies almost every portion of the skin like cheeks, forehead, nose or even neck. Rocasea is quite troublesome because it spreads very quickly and refuses to go easily. Stay away from sun red wine hard cheese or spicy foods in these times. Try using inflammatory lotions during such times. An antibiotic like doxycycline can also help under prescribed dosage. Redness of face may also result in cases such as due to some cosmetic that might not be suitable for your skin type. Benzyl peroxide and also alpha hydroxyl acids are the most common ingredients that are causing such irritation or redness to your face. This is a condition of allergic or irritant dramatis. In such cases first stop using that cosmetic first and foremost and start using hydrocortisone cream with steroid infused in it. But always consult a dermatologist before using any drug or chemical based cream on the infected portion. Adult acne is mainly a kind of condition in which the redness of face occurs due to acne that has its roots during teenage times and has re-evolved after a definite time gap. The causes of such redness of face can be menstruation, contraceptives or pregnancy etc. Lupus is a similar kind of irritation on face that almost takes the form of a butterfly and can be treated only with medicated lotions or drugs. Homemade remedies are possible too However there are also several home based remedies to treat redness of face. Using a consistent facial mask made of natural cooling agents like fruits and vegetables can be a wonder treatment for such a kind of irritation. Cucumber, Mint, Honey and Milk is suited for such remedies. While cucumber soothes the skin, treat inflammation, mint with its antimicrobial properties helps the skin to get cleansed of impurities or toxins. Honey and Milk also has antimicrobial properties as it cleanses skin of dead tissue and toxins and honey retains the moisture balance of the skin helping to manage redness of face. Related links :
